I found this when looking at the late Divine's filmography and had to see it right away. How could this have escaped me for so long? A comedy western starring Divine and Tab Hunter and directed by the great Paul Bartel? Sold!

This has some great funny moments and a few good musical numbers. The cast assembled is amazing - Henry Silva, Nedra Volz, Courtney Gains and Cesar Romero. Not elevated to my favorite Divine flick (how can you top her and Hunter in John Waters' Polyester?) but still quite fun.

This is the second time seeing this and I loved it just as much as the first time. Great action and a wonderful western by a filmmaker in the East. Watched it today because I recently got the Blu and had to show Jenny. She really liked it too. Of course she did, it's awesome!

Decided to check this out with Micah even though the screening was scheduled for 10p and I had to be up at 5a. Because of this, and an already present lack of sleep, I found it hard to focus on parts of this movie. Mostly due to the many story lines and not being sure what to follow more. In the end everything comes together and tells a pretty interesting story about a slaughter of some white man thieves by an indian tribe after they gave them "firewater" and got them trashed. This story is a bit small to encompass a full feature which is probably why they have so many other stories going at the same time. I was happy to see mention of the other legend that John Wilkes Booth fled to Grandbury, TX and lived there under an false identity. This is something I've heard about before but never seen it in a film.

An interesting film that fans of Texas history and/or westerns will surely enjoy.

Was not really a fan of this, but it did have a few WTF moments that caused a chuckle. It seems the film couldn't decide what time period to stick with. The villains are a "Spanish" barbarian/viking named Diego who has a fu manchu and looks like a martial arts master, a very pale and feminine guy who dresses and speaks foppish and the third is a hunchback who looks straight out of the renaissance and compares himself to Richard III. I remain very confused by this one.
