A fun, interesting sex comedy that I had not seen in a few years. It was on TV so I decided to pop in my version without the commercials and edits. It's interesting how lightly they take a rape scenario and the Internet Company Hartnett works for is ripe with sexual harassment.

Canadian Pinball Wizards

Due to some technical difficulties with the regularly scheduled WW we watched this one we missed instead. What a great, fun T&A flick from the early 80s! There are all the prerequisites - boobs, pointless situations, sex, comedy, hijinks and pinball. This film also has the most creepy pinball machine ever named Arthur that talks to the player. Shudder. Near the end, at the big pinball contest, they play on a machine called Pinball Summer that has artwork all over depicting scenes from the movie. Insanity!

Tons of fun and highly recommended.

Every Teen Boy's Fantasy

I'm always up for a good sex comedy and who doesn't love Sylvia Kristel from Emmanuelle? This is pretty light on the comedy, unless you count how young Phillip is seemingly always helping his overweight friend Sherman out of/off of/on top of something, but a lot of it is kind of disturbing. Sure, most teen boys have fantasies about being seduced and taught the ropes by an older, good looking woman, but as an adult I just saw all of the awkward. Not only is Phillip unsure of what he's doing but just seeing her seduce him felt kind of icky. They even shot the love scenes in another state because of the lower age of consent since the actor was only about 16 and Kristel was in her late 20s. I also think that Kristel's haircut and facial structure reminded me a bit too much of Tim Curry in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, but maybe I'm just weird.

BTS Gets Dirty

Our eighth and final film turned out to be Brian Trenchard-Smith's (mostly) unreleased Porky's installment that, due to legal reasons, goes by the name Pimpin' Pee Wee. We got a DVD of the unreleased film from BTS himself and it is dirty, funny and one of the better sex comedies I've seen as of late. One of the characters has a giant schlong and he spouts inane phrases to chicks like "talk to the gland." It stays pretty close to the subgenre's conventions but manages to maintain the laughs and have a lot of boobies - and that's all anyone really wants from this type of flick.

Bonus Fun Fact: This movie implores the best penis transitions between scenes!

Young Love

Sex and the Teenage Mind (2002)

Decided to watch this because I like teen sex comedies and wanted to see one with Winnie Cooper in the cast. Overall I was not really impressed. A few good moments but most of the jokes were really stupid or portrayed that way. Other films of its ilk are much more fun and interesting (and have more nudity). Not really recommended.

Dirty Stuff

The Virginity Hit (2010)

I remembered having a slight interest in seeing this when I saw a trailer months ago and since it was On Demand I figured I might as well give it a go. This is the sex comedy for the YouTube generation and it mostly succeeds. Fun little adventure that follows a lot of the standard conventions of the subgenre with some really funny moments. I do think it seems easier than anywhere else for teens to get alcohol in New Orleans. The crew goes to a bar and is served in one scene. They must have some damn good fake I.D.s.

80s Vampire Sex Comedy

Second time to see this, and second this year. This viewing is because I got the new Arrow Video Blu-Ray from the UK and had to give it a spin for a review. Great transfer!

Show Me Your O-Face

Sex Sells: The Making of "Touche" (2005)

Found this on Netflix Instant and thought I'd give it a go. It's a mockumentary about making a porno with the largest orgy. My main interest came from having Priscilla Barnes (Three's Company) and Adrian Zmed (TJ Hooker, though I know him mostly from the wonderful Grease 2) in the cast. Zmed's character is Lance Long, a man with a 42-inch schlong. Now you know what we're dealing with. There are a couple of giggle worthy moments but it's mostly pretty lame. Not recommended.

Beer Me

Road Trip: Beer Pong (2009)

I really enjoyed the first Road Trip film by Todd Phillips. It had a great cast and some really funny moments, but this direct-to-DVD sequel does not measure up. It does have a couple funny moments, some cool trick beer pong shots and some very hot girls. It's not enough though. The whole story is kinda lame, most of the jokes fail and the stoner friend's fried speech patterns sound like nails on a chalkboard. Can't believe Danny Pudi is in this, he's much better on Community. DJ Qualls takes over the Tom Green role of the inappropriate tour guide storyteller, and the same slutty mom is in the group with her daughter this time. Not a very good sex comedy, but much better than some. I say just watch the first film again instead of spending 90 minutes on this.

Uh...

I've seen this VHS cover many times in my years but nothing could prepare me for how "blah" this movie is. I knew it had something to do with a wet t-shirt contest but that's ALL it's about. Gets very boring. I know, I know. A movie about wet t-shirt contests, with tons of nude/semi-nude girls, is boring. I don't think there's really any comedy in the film because not a damn thing is funny. I hear Vincent's previous film Summer Camp is better and I'll give it a try, but I may have to have some alcohol first.

Boobs and Bongs

I have my buddy Noahphex to blame for this one. I was going to pick something of Netflix Instant to watch when I saw on Twitter that he had just started this sex comedy from The Asylum. I have seen a copule of the company's other sex comedies and they were always enjoyable. Well, that doesn't ring true here.  There's plenty of sex, but someone forgot to put the comedy in there. There are tons, and I mean tons, of naked chicks in this movie (first nude at about the ten second mark) but it's so painfully unfunny, boring and, at times, just plain gross that it's not really worth it. Just watch some of the studio's other efforts like The 18-Year-Old Virgin instead.
